So this is Lucy

First time seen in the county

The smallest warbler

Brisk afternoon hike

Cold snow squalls in the mountains

When will it be Spring?

It is getting late….After 8 pm…..Busy bachelor leaves his office and goes in the kitchen wondering

What to eat tonight?

Grabs peanut butter pretzels

Whole bag was dinner

and now he is back upstairs in his office, sustained for the time being and writes his haiku

Preserve and protect our home

Do your very best

Did a hike today

In homage to Mother Earth

Boy, do my feet hurt

and

Touch and Love the Earth

She bore us and sustains us

Eternal treasure

I lift up mine eyes

Brilliance lost in light of day

As Spring and Life soars

A Western Bluebird
