Every year on the Memorial Day Weekend there are multiple bike races in Durango. The signature race is a road race from Durango to Silverton….50 miles. 5,700 foot elevation gain….two passes over 10,000 feet…Incredible mountain scenery…..They even close the highway…..Racers race the train from Durango to Silverton…..The pros always win

It reminds me a little of the mountains route He-Man took while doing the Death Ride, and rides in WY around Glacier NP.
