The Syllable counter on my computer seems to think that legged is one syllable, yet an on-line dictionary shows it as two syllables. If we want to make legged two syllables, then the first line could read
A Rough-legged Hawk
It is a county first for me. These guys only show up in this area in the wintertime since they breed and raise their young in the Arctic.
