This was a grab shot with my cell phone while out walking in my neighborhood. If I had looked at the image in the field, I would have removed the leaf that was out of focus and then taken the photo again…or found a better composition in another tree. Artists are seldom pleased with what they create.

I didn’t even notice the out of focus leaf looking instead at the acorns and the textures, and details. They look neat with their two contrasting sides.

Yes, I enjoy the textures and details, but if that out-of-focus leaf wasn’t there, I’d enjoy seeing the third acorn in full.
