Coyote walking

ears up before he sees me –

then down. Slinks away.

Photographed through my windows.  It is interesting to see the coyote’s body language before and after he saw me.

 Of course, the snow is not that deep everywhere, but there are still piles of snow all along the road in my neighborhood. Photo taken yesterday afternoon.

These mountains are virtually in my backyard. Not sure you can see the headlights and tail lights. The two images were taken from the same location on Monday.

She didn’t look away.

Here’s another “I can see you” photo. This image was taken many years ago at the Leopard Gorge in the Masai Mara. If I remember correctly, this is the famous Half-tail Leopard. She was up in a tree with a kill and I took this photo looking straight up through the roof hatch of the safari vehicle.
