Not a real tree.
A friend gave me this idea to invert a tomato cage ……the kind that is used to support tomato plants in the summer….. and wrap it with garlands and lights.

I did have a very nice Christmas, thank you. The woman who hiked the last 75 miles of the trail with me rented out her house over Christmas so she came and stayed with me for four nights. It was really wonderful to have a companion during that time. We exchanged stockings and each had separate parties to go to. Sadly, nothing romantic because she is 17 years younger than I am, but it was really nice to have her company.
